EBERRON PARTY

Ever wonder what sort of a party I might create for Eberron? Wonder no more. Here is a six-character party of 1st-level characters, created using a 28-pt build. They are in PDF format.  Do with these characters as you will, but be aware that this material is not in any way sanctioned by Wizards of the Coast! It's very possible that I've made errors, and Dymus even uses the outdated apprentice rules from 3.0.

Dymus Deneith, Human Monk/Fighter

Kesht, Shifter Cleric

Rael Dehllyr, Valenar Ranger

Dorian Delisan Cantar, Gnome Sorcerer

Tezz, Halfling Rogue

Slate, Warforged Fighter

I originally designed the party as a group of second level characters, and this is why I decided to use the apprentice levels for Dymus; the idea of being a fighter/monk is very much a part of the character, so I kept it in. Rael's equipment is at the high end of what a ranger could afford (though possible), but he can't take full advantage of his double scimitar until he reaches 2nd level and gets two-weapon fighting; in many ways he'd be better off with a scimitar and buckler, but it's a style thing. I chose to make Dorian a sorcerer instead of an artificer because artificers can be overwhelming for inexperienced players. He doesn't have a familiar yet because he couldn't afford it; my plan would be to give him a snake, getting a +3 bonus to Bluff. And finally, I chose to make Tezz a halfling instead of a changeling because changelings can also be confusing for inexperienced players and have a way of slowing a game down as players come up with wacky ways to use shapechanging -- and a Jorasco halfling still brings in something that is unique to the world.
